COURSE INFORMATION
The Level 3 Certificate in Teaching and Training is designed for individuals working in learning and development roles, such as trainers or tutors, who are responsible for delivering teaching or training across a range of environments, including workplaces, workshops, and classrooms.
This qualification provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively plan and deliver engaging learning sessions. It covers key principles of teaching and training, along with the competencies needed to apply these skills in real-world settings.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, centres are advised to carry out an initial assessment of each candidate’s skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and support effective assessment planning.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be used to meet evidence requirements, provided that the evidence is current and valid (typically within the last two years).
The awarding organisation for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body, and it is regulated by Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The qualification specification has been approved by the Welsh Government for use in Wales.
