COURSE INFORMATION
The ProQual Level 3 Award in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is designed for individuals working with data in intelligence analysis or business analysis roles, using the Internet as a key research and investigative tool.
The qualification covers essential topics, including:
- Principles of the Internet
- Internet safety in research and investigation
- Using the Internet as a research and investigative tool
- Applications of the Internet in intelligence gathering
- Social networking platforms and their role in investigations
This qualification is awarded by ProQual Awarding Body and is regulated by Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
It is accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), ensuring recognised standards of quality and credibility.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, centres are advised to conduct an initial assessment of each candidate’s skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and support effective assessment planning.
