COURSE INFORMATION
18 days (3 days of online learning followed by 15 days of in-person training) of intense training for hostile environment close protection covering all aspects from theory to practical with a multiple-choice exam to complete the course.
Anyone wishing to enter the high-risk industry of armed close protection would seriously need to take this type of training (former military or not) this qualification is designed for those learners wishing to apply for a job in the private security contractor or overseas high-risk industry. The 18-day course also gives the learner the minimum requirements to apply for overseas high-risk jobs such as middle east, africa and south america.
You will be put through your paces from our highly experienced tutors, so prepare to train hard every single day. We finish the course with final exercises protecting 3 types of clients that you will possibly come across in your future career, so this course really prepares you for high risk bodyguarding and for armed private security contractors looking to work overseas in places like iraq and libya for example.

- Level 2 Weapons Proficiency
- Level 1 Close Quarter Battle (CQB)
- Basic Surveillance Training
- ProQual Level 3 Award in Hostile Environment Awareness (or equivalent)
- ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Hostile Environment Firearms & Tactics (or equivalent)

- Demonstrate personal security strategies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of foreign liaisons.
- Understand the dynamics of radio procedures.
- Be competent in incident management.
- Have a generic understanding of weapons and mines.
- Understand the generic make-up and deployment of mines.
- Mitigate the escalation of civil unrest and demonstrations.
- Understand Improvised explosive device generics and their methodology
- Conduct vehicle search.
- Provide crisis management within an active shooter scenario.
- Follow methodology for conduct under capture/hostage taking.
- Be competent in escape and evasion techniques.
- Show techniques to sustain life.
- Be able to plan safe routes of passage.
- Conduct vehicle ambush drills.
- Conduct vehicle mine strike drills.
- Demonstrate vehicle breakdown techniques in remote locations.
- Understand ballistics and their capabilities.
- Show an understanding of firearm characteristics and manipulation.
- Identify the reasons for the covert carry of a firearm.
- Gain close quarter combat skills (CQC – Self Defence).
