This high-paced, intensive program combines rigorous theory with demanding practical exercises, including travel-based scenarios and real-VIP training, to prepare operatives for the complexities of modern protective assignments.
COURSE INFORMATION
This course focuses on real-world security operations, combining:
- High-level close protection
- Threat analysis and operational intelligence
- Tactical unarmed combat
- Advanced surveillance and counter-surveillance techniques
- Protective operations in semi-hostile and dynamic environments
- VIP travel protection, including movement planning and international transit security
- Introductory security-driving principles relevant to protective mobility
- Airport and aircraft protection procedures for secure arrivals and departures
- VIP protection and individual bodyguarding
- Crisis, incident, and emergency-response management
- Team leadership and small-unit coordination for protective details
The course also offers optional development modules, including Conflict Management, with the opportunity to complete the ProQual RQF Award in Conflict Management, and Team Leading, with the option to undertake the ProQual RQF Award in Team Leading for those seeking formal supervisory certification. Learners may additionally apply for the Level 3 Award in Intelligence Analysis (ProQual) and the Level 3 ProQual RQF Award in Security Chauffeur Driving, both subject to pre-approval and the requirement for additional training days.
This course is specifically designed to support non-commercial clients, including NGOs, diplomats, and individuals working or traveling in medium- to high-risk environments or conflict-prone regions. Graduates will be prepared not only for executive and celebrity protection, but also for providing secure travel support, risk-aware escorting, and protective services for clients whose profile or mission exposes them to elevated security threats.
By emphasising tactical operations, threat assessment, evacuation planning, situational awareness, and hostile-environment readiness, the Level 5 certification ensures operatives are capable of safeguarding vulnerable or high-threat clients both overseas and in unstable zones.
