COURSE INFORMATION

Why have we put together this training program when we also deliver the 18 days level 3 CPO course?
Firstly, you would require the level 3 pre-requisite level 3 as your foundations before signing up to this course.
You would also require your level 3 medic qualification.
Here why:
Working as a celebrity bodyguard is far more than just standing next to a high-profile client. It’s a blend of planning, psychology, logistics, and controlled response under pressure.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Advance Work (before the client arrives)
  • Recon of venues, hotels, stadiums, routes
  • Identifying choke points, exits, safe rooms
  • Liaising with local security, drivers, and event staff
  • Planning primary + secondary evacuation routes

Working Armed (Covert Carry Weapons and the reality)

  • No “tactical” look—blend into environment (suit, casual, etc.)
  • Your goal is deterrence through presence, not display
  1. Use of Force Continuum

Firearms are last resort only. Your escalation ladder typically is:

  1. Awareness & avoidance
  2. Verbal commands / de-escalation
  3. Physical intervention
  4. Extraction (get the client out)
  5. Lethal force (only if necessary)
  1. Reality Check
  • You are not law enforcement
