Each aspect of our CP training course features practical teaching 70% – including 2 x real live final missions – as well as 30% theory-based classes to keep you fully engaged and to get you understanding the intelligence side to this fast-paced industry and reality of the life of a close protection operator.
UCP Group deliver this course over 18 days in London, Los Angeles, Bangkok, Marbella, Columbo, Beirut and Rome and our SIA close protection courses will not only prepare you to completely understand and meet the expectations of all under an array of different environments and scenarios but will also ensure you have interviews with potential private security employers and individual clients as an Ultimate Close Protection Operator.

All our Close Protection courses come with Street Fight Defence Techniques like Krav Maga but using even more relevant skills to stop the fight before it starts.
The instructors are all from martial arts backgrounds and transitioned to MMA and Krav Maga.
What else is standard within all our CPO courses is weapons safety and weapons training from knives, pistols, and batons, defending and using and making safe.
The training days are long just like the reality operational days, up to 12 – 15 hours of practical and theory.

Executive Close Protection:
This is all the suited and booted stuff and casual clothing, even down to shorts and T-shirts, whatever the client requires, from A-list celebs, VIP and businesspeople, witness protection and corporate companies and MPs etc. that require day to day protection from fans, stalkers, malicious harm, and kidnap and negative media. Mainly protecting them from delays, bad image, and reputational risk.

Hostile Environment Close Protection:
Anything that is armed even with a suit and even if this falls inside the ECPO remit. But mainly Private Security Detail (PSD) and Private Security (PSC)Contractor or Private Military Contractor (PMC), mostly in worn torn countries and any country that is under financial strain and corruption. This type of training includes Firearms Training from Level 1 – 6 and Sniper and Designated Defensive Marksman (DDM)
